With strength comes weakness and with weakness comes possibility. Here at Lincoln I have learned more about myself than I thought I knew. This opportunity has opened my eyes to many different worlds and characteristics of myself. So far I have had the chance to enhance my strengths and shed light on my weaknesses. When you are in denial of who you really are and your struggles you tend to change for the negative.

I would have to say that my freshman year has been geeked with many ups and down, but the feeling of family around me I was able to push on and get through it. I have met so many new people and they have also been the extra support I needed to turn my weaknesses into a strength. I am slowly learning to trust and understand the people around me. My peers have taught me to never second guess myself. When I performed in the talent show there was so many different feelings, but it was my peers that told me to take risk. Knowing that they believed in helped me believe in myself and I do thankful for that.

Although I have only been here for a few months I have learned so much. I can not wait finish out my years here at the illustrious Lincoln University
